India is one of these magical destinations for any traveller, also for those loving wildwatching & birding. Here visitors find wonderful natural heritage in an endless variation of landscapes full of exotic colours and aromas.
In this tour we will mainly stay in the Madya Pradesh & Rajastan states. Our main goal is to enjoy good views on Tigers, one of the natural gems in Asia. For this, we will visit two different National Parks hosting some of the best densities of this cat on the Earth. Other interesting mammals here will include Sloth Bear, and different species of monkeys and deers.
Birds will also have an important place in the tour. We expect above 200 species and we will pay special attention to have good views on some specialities including the famous Indian Pitta!

Daily Planning of the tour:

Day 1. Meet and greed in Barcelona International Airport for a flight to Mumbai via Doha. (please check pricing without flights for those preferint to fly to Mumbai and to meet there) Once arrived to Mumbai we will do the sort transfer to Nagpur.

Day 2. Transfer from Nagpur to Taboda National Park (2 hours). In the afternoon we will have our game drive to try to see our first Bengal Tigers.

Days 3 to 5. Tadoba National Park. We will have three full days to enjoy diferent game drives inside this wonderful National Park. Out of Tigers, we expect to see Sloth Bear, and Indian Wild Dog (if lucky). Naul, Nilgai, Small Indian Civet and Sambar are all possible. We are at the end of the dry season and this means that there are few water holes available, so most wildlife concentrate in few spots, increasing our chances to enjoy unforgettable sights on these wildlife!

Indian Pitta is a must-see for many birders exploring India.

Birding is not less impressive. and the espectacular jungle and the forested hillsides in the 1000sq kilometres of the Sanctuary hosts a long list of specialities. Indian Pitta is one of the most sought-after species and Taboda is an excellent place to enjoy them. Here we will also look for Oriental Honey Buzzard, Crested Serpent Eagle, Jungle & Spotted Owlets, Common Cuckoo-Hawk, Brown Fish Owl, Indian Paradise Flycatcher, Jungle Bush Quail, Forest Wagtail, Brahminy Myna, Pariah Kite, Orange-headed Thrush, Crested Treeswift, Rufous Treepie, Black-naped Blue Flycatcher, Grey-headed Fish Eagle, White-breasted Water Hen, White-throated Kingfisher or Lesser Golden-backed Woodpecker.

Day 6. Transfer from Tadoba – Kanha. After some morning birding to grap some new species in the low scrubland aroung our Lodge we will transfer to Kanha National Park.

Days 7-9. Kanha National Park. Three full days to enjoy new views on Bengal Tigers. Birding will be very impressive in this area Lesser Adjutant, Tickell’s Blue Flycatcher, Malabar Pied Hornbill, White Rumped Shama, White Bellied Drongo, Spangled Drongo. Racket Tailed Drongo, Twany & Jungle Babbler, Indian Scimitar Babbler, Scarlet Minivet, Painted Francolin, Black Naped Flycatcher, Common Iora, Gold Mantled Chloropsis, Jerdon’s Leaf Bird, Common Grey Hornbill, Asian Brown Flycatcher, Tickell’s Flowerpecker, Verditor Flycatcher, Twany Fish Owl, Mottled Wood Owl and Changeable Hawk Eaglegle, Pallas’s Fishing Eagle, White-rumped Shama, Gold-mantled Chloropsis, Jerdon’s leaf bird, Plum-headed parakeet, Bar-winged Flycatcher-shrike, Black-rumped Flameback, White-naped Woodpecker, Yellow-crowned Woodpecker, Sulphur-bellied Warbler, Rain Quail among many more!

Day 10. Kanha – Nagpur – Doha. Final morning in Kanha before transfer to Nagpur. Flight back to Doha, where we will do an overnight before flying back to Barcelona (please contact us for non flights options)

Tour participants will assemble in Barcelona Internacional Airport for an regular Flight to Mumbai.

We will enjoy great accommodations in this tour as we will spend most of the nights in the very comfortable lodges inside the National Parks, or really nearby.


Weather in mid May can be really warm, with temperatures reaching 35ºC. You can expect days being mainly sunny but with some clouds. One or two days we may have slight rain.
